Way Station Weekend Retreats
Way Station Weekend Retreats
A way station is a place to rest on a long journey, gather nourishment and replenish strength before continuing on the path ahead.
These retreats are opportunities to step out of the hard work you are doing every day as a leader, caregiver, activist, and/or seeker. We are all on a journey, this life provides us each with unique opportunities and barriers, which, with engagement become our unique imprint and offering. And, along the way we all need care. The practice of receiving care and nourishment is one often overlooked and that requires delicate attention. This is what we do in partnership as we plan your weekend retreat.
These weekends offer a space to rest and recalibrate, to attend to who you are in relationship with yourself, others, and Earth.
What is included:
1 hr zoom meeting upon registration to assess your care needs and style, interests, and preferences.
Tentative itinerary/menu options to review and revise before retreat
Upon arrival, the weekend will unfold according to the curated plan, but the guests will not have any concerns or worries. Sherene will provide meals, snacks, and supplies as needed for the entire weekend.

Sherene’s place, Grovesong, is truly special. A working farmhouse that exemplifies what it means to live in tune with the earth and nature. It was a gift to take a Fall weekend respite from daily stressors at home and be nurtured by Sherene in this cozy, unassuming environment.
We cooked together and savored wholesome food. We explored parts of the Blue Hill peninsula, taking a lovely hike, and visiting local markets. We traversed the acreage of the farm, learning about the regenerative work. We picked apples right off the trees and bit into their deliciousness. Tarot cards, bracelet creation, and fire starter making rounded out our time together. High recommendation for those seeking an escape from the busyness of life in a beautiful setting, and an opportunity to re-balance. - J.C.
“Coming to Sherene’s home is like stepping into a sanctuary you’ve always known but couldn’t find. From the moment you arrive, you’re wrapped in genuine care, calm, and kindness. She has a rare gift for making people feel truly seen and nurtured—not just fed, though her food is incredible; but nourished on every level. The food is prepared with so much love and intention, and the atmosphere she creates is grounding, comforting, and restorative. Time spent in Sherene’s care feels like a deep exhale for the body and soul. ”
